Top 10 Reasons for choosing TORBAL Rx
Rx and NDC verification is a standard features on all units furnished with barcode scanners. This is one of the most important features of our pill counting scales. The ability to verify that the correct drug is about to be counted provides greater ease of mind to the user

Verification is a very straight forward process. When verification is enabled, the user is asked to perform two scans. One is scanning the NDC barcode located on the supply bottle. The next is scanning the NDC barcode located on the Rx prescription label. If the unit confirms that the codes are the same, the user is permitted to continue with pill counting. If a discrepancy between the codes is found, the counting operation is immediately aborted.

The DRX-5s series offers the Rx and NDC verification feature in two modes. Mode One integrates the NDC verification feature and is designed to verify drugs during the counting process. Mode Two allows the user to perform verification without pill counting. This mode is used to verify prescription drugs not in pill form, such as creams, inhalers or drops.
