Preloaded NDC directory database with Drug Name and Drug Details display

The server is preloaded with the "National Drug Code Directory Database." During each pill counting transaction the server sends to the DRX workstation scales detailed drug information such as name, strength, dosage form, and manufacturer. This information can be displayed during the count allowing users to further verify that the correct drug is counted and filled. Newly released NDC Directory information can be quickly uploaded to the server through the administrative panel.
